If you are entering Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade for the 2025-2026 school year, use this reading log to record your books.

If you are entering 3rd, 4th, or 5^th grade for the 2025-2026 school year, use Beanstack to record your reading minutes. 

Students should login to Beanstack with their student number.  The password is your 4-digit birthday (mm/dd).

Students who complete their summer reading will receive a certificate and prize in the fall.

It is an exciting time of year! If you have a child who will be entering Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year, please take note of the upcoming registration window.

Registration officially opens on March 16, 2026.

To ensure a smooth enrollment process, please follow these three steps:

• Online Enrollment: Complete the initial registration via the GCPS New Student Enrollment portal.

• Documentation: Upload all required documents (such as proof of residency, birth certificate, and immunization records) directly to the portal.

• KREP Appointment: After your online application is processed, a staff member from Winn Holt will contact you to schedule an appointment for the Kindergarten Readiness Entry Profile (KREP).
