  • Want to LEARN how to be your child's first and best teacher through PLAY?

    Winn Holt Elementary will be offering a BIRTH to FIVE (if not in kindergarten yet) program for you and your child that encourages PLAYING, LEARNING, and GROWING together.

    Winn Holt Elementary is excited to offer this program. Please complete this form if you are interested in joining one of our Play 2 Learn classes for the 2025-2026 school year.  Our Play 2 Learn teacher (Mrs. Bales) will contact you in August to let you know how to register. She can also answer any questions if you are looking for more information about the class.

    For the 2025 - 2026 school year, the Play 2 Learn classes will take place on Thursdays from 10:15-11:45 am and 12:00-1:30 pm in the Play 2 Learn classroom. 

    Little Learners Academy 2025 - 2026 Dates:

    Little Learners Academy sessions will start on Friday, August 29th, 10:30 - 11:30  am. These sessions will take place on the last Friday of each month.  These are short Play 2 Learn sessions so parents can determine if they are interested in the program.

Who can Play 2 Learn?

Children ages birth to 5 years old (if not in kindergarten yet) and their parents or caregivers who live within the Winn Holt district.

What is the program about?

Play 2 Learn is a program for young children— ages birth to 5 (if not in kindergarten yet)— offered at all elementary schools in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Children and parents, and other adults in the family learn TOGETHER through engaging lesson plans in a high-quality preschool environment for 90 minutes each week during the school year. Families are empowered to keep the learning going at home so that all children will be ready for Kindergarten!

When and where will it take place?

For the 2025 - 2026 school year, the Play 2 Learn classes will take place on Thursdays from 10:15-11:45 am and 12:00-1:30 pm​​ in the Play 2 Learn classroom at Winn Holt Elementary with Mrs. Bales.

How do I sign up?

When you come for your first class, we will register you and your child for the program. Use the interest link above to contact Mrs. Bales, the Play 2 Learn teacher. 

What is Little Learners Academy?

Little Learners Academy is a Birth to Five (if not in kindergarten yet) program for children and their parents/caregivers. This program meets one time per month for an hour. The Little Learners Academy program allows children to grow academically, socially, and emotionally through interactive read-alouds, hands-on learning experiences, music and movement, and engaging with their parents/caregivers through play!  This class will help parents determine their interest in the Play 2 Learn program.

Little Learners Academy sessions will start on Friday, August 29, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. These sessions will take place on the last Friday of each month.
